Lotto Results.

There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 17th June. The numbers were 4 – 7 – 18 – 19 five punters matched three numbers Brendan Lynott Carrowgarve Crossmolina, Sheila Barrett Mullenmore St Crossmolina, John Reilly 57 Leinster Rd Rathmines Dublin 6, P.J. Granaghan Keenagh Ballina, Michael and Bea Judge The Boreen Crossmolina, each win €30. The draw took place in Christy’s Bar. This week’s jackpot is €5,250. Many thanks for all your support. 

 

Community Games Thank You

The Crossmolina Area Community Games annual sports day on 28th of May last was a fun family afternoon. Many thanks to all the children who participated and to parents for your continued support. Congrats and good luck to the children representing the area in county finals in Claremorris track on 2nd July.

 

Festival News

The second last heat of the "Singing Pubs" takes place in O'Malley's Bar & Grill on next Saturday, July 1st, €100 prize for the heat winner. Congratulations to Rebecca Mulhaire who won the heat in the Thatch, Rebecca lives in Ballina and is daughter of Billy Mulhaire, originally from St. Mary's Park. This year's festival will be filmed for broadcast on TV in August, the film crew will record the preparations in the town for the festival as well as some festival events as well. Thank you to Coolturk Quarries, AGS Scaffolding, Martin Lynn Painter, Stick's Bar & The Thatch Bar for making this possible. We invite everyone to the festival launch in the Town Hall on Sat. July 1st (after 8pm mass) & Sun. July 2nd after 11:30am mass. The festival brochure will be available plus details on all of the events, entertainment etc and the launch of the new festival website at www.crossmolinafestival.ie."

 

Junior Championship

Crossmolina 2 – 14 Charelstown 1 – 6

Crossmolina were in control of this round 2 County Junior Championship tie at a sunny Tiernans Park on Sunday last with Thomas McNulty and Joe Keane directing operation up front scoring three points each in the opening 30 minuets Liam Donohoe grabbed the vital goal in the 23rd minuet and Kevin Keane added a point James Kilroy Noel Mulligan were Charlestown Point scorers to leave the half time score 1 – 7 to  0 – 2 Thomas McNulty continued his good scoring record with a further 1 – 3 Darragh McCormack Liam Donohoe Fergoil Gill and Conor Rowland tacked on points for the visitors Kiefer Craig James Kilroy pointed Ray Lenehan goaled after pass form Mark Caffrey in the 26th minuet  and corner back Brian Sheeran rowed in with two points in last few minuets  to leave the Deel-Siders comfortable winners

Kilmurray Summer Camp

The FAI Summer Soccer Camp will take place in Kilmurry from Monday 3rd July to Friday 7th July. The camp is for boys and girls from 6 to 14 years of age and lasts from 10.30 am to 3.00 pm each day .The early booking cost is €65. Full details and online booking at www.summersoccerschools.ie
