Lotto Results.

There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 16th September. The numbers were 1 – 11 – 12 – 27. One punter matched three numbers. Peter Naughton Letterbrick, Keenagh, Ballina who won €150. The Draw took place in O’Malley’s Bar and Grill. This week’s Jackpot is €4,050. Many thanks for all your support

 

Unwanted Clothing. 

Bags of unwanted clothing can be left into the Shed of Crossmolina National School at any time. Please do not include Quilts or Pillows

 

Recent Deaths.

Sympathy is extended to the families of Mary Moyles nee Gardiner 95 Childers Heights Ballina formerly of Moygownagh and Killala, Mary. Ann, Marcella and Sean Wilson Cross, Binghamstown Belmullet who died tragically in a road accident, Carmel Nicholason nee Gallagher who died in Leeds. May they rest in peace

Kilmurray Parents Meeting.

Kilmurray Parent and Toddler Group meet in Kilmurray Community Centre every Tuesday morning from 11am to 1pm. All are welcome €4 per family

 

Social Dancing.

In the Parish Hall Crossmolina on this Friday night, 29th September Lessons form 9pm to 10pm. with dancing from 10pm to 12 music by John Molloy. Tea and refreshments served 

 

T.P’s Thanks.

T.P. Loftus , would like to thank all those who attended my retirement function on Friday 15th September .My sincere gratitude to all the Richmond NS and Kilmurry community- Board of Management, Staff , Parents and Pupils both past and present , Soccer Club and Community Games - for organising the function and for their very thoughtful gifts and cards . I wish to also thank all those who couldn't attend but sent their good wishes .It was very special to receive a poem penned by a past pupil, Liam Cawley, and a beautiful cake baked by another past pupil, Siobhan Donnelly. We all enjoyed the great music and song performed by Wavelength. I wish every success in the future to all the Richmond NS community especially their new Principal, Noreen Lennon.

 

U15 Boys League 

Crossmolia U15 Boys suffered a heavy defeat at home to Kilmeena in this first round County League tie. The visitors were in command throughout apart from the final quarter when the Deel-Siders had their best spell with goals from a Jonathan Murtagh penalty and Luke Rowland to leave the final score Kilmeena 6 – 14 Crossmolina 2 – 10

Crossmolina Festival News. 

Crossmolina Community Festival would like to thank all for making Festival 2017 a success, from sponsors, stewards through to everyone that attended the festival events and we would like to invite you to Hiney's next Friday night, 29th, 9pm - music by Eunice Moran. There will be plenty of Halloween Celebrations in Crossmolina this year as we team up with the North Mayo Heritage Centre, Enniscoe to organise lots of brand new events from Oct. 28th - 31st for children, teenagers and adults. 

"The Halloween "Haunted Hat" Festival wants to make an appeal to anyone that if they have any old ladies or gents hats that they no longer require could they drop them into the Tourist Office (Enterprise Centre) on Wed., Thurs, or Fri. morning.

 

Pioneer Mini Vigil

Connacht Pioneer Mini Vigil will take place in the Apperition Church Knock on this Friday evening the 29th September 2017. Time 8.30pm to 12 midnight. All are 

 

Ballina Pioneer Centenary

St Muredachs Ballina Pioneer centre are holding their centenary celebrations on Friday 6th October commencing with mass in the Twin Trees Hotel (formally the Downhill) at 7.30pm. Dinner 8.30pm. Music Michael S Toger. Tickets 25 euros. Tickets can be got from Maeve Tierney Crossmolina area.

 

Boys Basketball  

Crossmolina Basketball Club (Lough Conn Lakers) will resume training for U-12 boys (Friday, September 29th at 4pm) and U-14 boys (Friday, September 29th at 5pm) in Crossmolina Deel Rovers hall. Training for U-10 boys will resume in Crossmolina N.S. hall on Tuesday, October 3rd, at 3.10pm. Registration forms will be available at these sessions.
