Crossmolina Agricultural show are holding their annual 25 card drive in

Hineys Upperdeck on Monday 27th November @ 8.30pm. €1000 in prize money

spots prizes. Also Raffle for all ticket holders, Tickets €10

 

Lotto Results.

There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 12th November. The numbers were 2 - 9 – 15 – 21 ten punters matched three numbers. Paul Haran Coolturk, Crossmolina. Trish Walsh and Mary Moyles, Broken Jug Ballina. Votes of Sympathy. 

At the Executive meeting of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club on Tuesday 14th November. Votes of sympathy were expressed to the families of the following who died recently. Joe Corcoran Glen Ri and late of Healy Terrace Ardnaree, Sean Carr No 4  Knockroe Moygownagh, Pakie Cawley who died in the USA formerly of Dooleeg, Frank Kelly Ballaghderreen former mayo Footballer, Jackie Judge St Marys Park Crossmolina, Denis Mullarkey Glencullen Bangor Erris cousin of Dr Michael Loftus, Anthony (Tony) May Rathkill Castlehill, Rita Wall nee Carey Birmingham sister of Dor Finan Ardagh and Leo Carey Cloonkee. May they rest in peace

Bridge Club AGM.

The following officers were elected at the Annual General Meeting of Crossmolina Bridge Club in Hiney’s President Mariead Maughan Vic-President Ena Coggins Secretary Mary Corcoran Treasurer   Maureen Barrett. 

 

Bridge Results.

Crossmolina Bridge results were 

1st Mary Corcoran and Teresa McNulty 2nd Breda and John Mulkearns 3rd Mary Daly and Mariead Maughan  4th Nuala Doyle and Maureen Barrett. The Bridge session is on every Thursday night in Hineys  

  

U21 Championship.

Crossmolina and Ardmoy/McHale played out an exciting draw in the County U21 championship at a sunny Tiernans Park on Sunday week Fionan Duffy and James Carr traded two points each in the opening twelve minuets Tommy Walsh and Fionan Duffy  added points which the visitors cancelled out before Cormac Blehin struck a goal for Ardmoy/McHales in the 23rd Minuet Crossmolina struck back with points from Fionan Duffy and Dean Loftus to leave the half time score 1 – 4 to 0 – 6 after break Jordan Flynn Keith Hopkins and Fionan Duffy pointed the home side into a two points lead but this was short lived as James Carr pointed two frees Fergal  Duffy and Dean Loftus restored Crossmolina’s advantage with points each James Carr Cormac Blehin and James Carr again from a free gave his side a one point lead as the games entered the closing minutes Back came Crossmolina and Keith Hopkins landed the equalizer to leave the final score  0 – 12 to 1 – 9
