Defeat for Minors

Crossmolina Minor Footballers were defeated away to Park/Keelogues/ Crimlin in the county Minor D Championship Group 2 semi-final on Saturday week. Played in wet miserable conditions the host sides three early first half goals from Conor Sweeney and two from Simran Singh ment the Deel-Siders were struggling to make in roads on the score board throughout the opening half Edward Gough did score his sides three first half points another Conor Sweeney goal after the break kept the West Mayo side well in command Edward Gough with four points Daniel Howley and Diarmuid Walsh kept the Crossmolina Score board ticking over and would have been much closer were it not for having missed so many chances and the wood work coming to the winners rescue on two occasions final score 4-7 to 0-10 in favour of P/K/C
