The death occurred peacefully recently of in London of Breda Hoar (Nee Dunleavy) Hatfield Close, Surrey London, formerly Nephin Road Dublin 7 and Dooleeg, Crossmolina. Breda was a pupil in Eskeragh N.S. and Gortnor Abbey Crossmolina. She is survived by her husband Charles, son Andrew and daughters Sharon, Caroline and Elizabeth, Brothers Michael (RIP), Andy (Galway) and Tony (USA), sisters – Kathleen, Julia and Eileen (London). Burial took place in London. May she rest in peace
Kay Slater RIP
The death occurred peacefully on Saturday 11th April at Mayo University Hospital Castlebar of Kay Slater nee O’Malley Hillside Rise Mount Falcon Ballina and formerly of Shanvolahan Dooleeg. Due to current Government and HSE guidelines in regards to Covid 19, Kay’s funeral Mass and burial was strictly private to family only. The family wish to thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation at this very difficult time. Kay beloved wife of Damian and loving mother of Lavinia, Rachael and Michael. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, daughters, son, brothers John, Harry, Eamon, P.J. and Thomas, sisters Maureen and Noreen, grandchildren Jack, Noah, Olain, India-Rose and Elijah, sons-in-law John and James, Michael’s partner Joanna, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace

Crossmolina Community Council CLG would like to wish all their customers and the Crossmolina community a continued safe isolation. We wish to thank our Meals on Wheels staff for ensuring meals continue to be made daily during the crisis and to the volunteer drivers who deliver them. We have set up a local Befriending Phone Call service, just phone 087 218 6560 or 096 30935 to get started. Local help is also available through the Festival Committee, GAA and Community Alert, phone previous numbers for their information. Mayo Co Council have a Community Helpline open from 08.00am – 8.00pm, seven days a week, phone no. 094 906 4660. Unfortunately our grass cutting service is suspended until the crisis is over.

Lotto Results.
Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot has been suspended for a couple of weeks while we all get through this difficult time. Saturday night 4th April 2020. A lucky dip draw was held for all of our members who are contributing via direct debit and are long term lotto players.
Edel and John Deane Ballycarroon Crossmolina were the lucky winners and €50 is on its way to them.
