Their was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 3rdJune  The numbers were 7 – 10 – 11 – 25 two punters matched three numbers. Paul McDermott Ballina Rd Crossmolina, Anthony McHale Ballina St Crossmolina each wins €75. The draw took place in Cooney’s. This week’s jackpot is €4,950. Many thanks for all your support


The late Anthony Loftus

The death occurred peacefully on Saturday the 3rd June at the Moyridge Nursing Home Ballina of Anthony Loftus Dooleeg Crossmolina. His remains reposed at Hiney’s Funeral Home on Monday evening with removal to Our Lady of Mercy Church Eskeragh. Burial on Tuesday in Crossmolina Cemetery after requiem mass. Anthony is survived by his sister Margaret (Peggy) Donohoe Philadelphia USA, brother Johnny Moyridge Nursing Home Ballina, nieces, nephews, relations, extended family friends and neighbours. May he rest in peace

Kilmurray Parent and Toddler Group meet in Kilmurray Community Centre every Tuesday morning from 11am to 1pm. All are welcome €4 per family


Festival News

"Congratulations to Liam Cawley from Ballyscanlon who won the "Singing Pubs" heat in Maughan's Pub and will represent them in the final. The 2017 Festival will be launched in the Town Hall on Saturday July 1st at 8:30pm and on Sunday July 2nd at 12 noon along with the new festival website. The Nephin Rose Selection will take place in the Upper Deck on Saturday June 24th. This year's festival will be covered by a production company for broadcast on TV in August, thanks to Coolturk Quarries, AGS Scaffolding, Martin Lynn Painter, Thatch Pub and Stick's Bar."


Recent Deaths

Sympathy is extended to the families of the following who died recently Mary Doyle nee Staunton Knockannaveigh New Inn Co Tipperary and formerly of Moygownagh daughter of Tommy Staunton, Anthony Loftus Dooleeg Crossmolina, Thomas Heslin son of Mary Naughton Knockbrack. May they rest in peace

Kilmurray Summer Camp

The FAI Summer Soccer Camp will take place in Kilmurry from Monday 3rd July to Friday 7th July. The camp is for boys and girls from 6 to 14 years of age and lasts from 10.30 am to 3.00 pm each day .The early booking cost is €65. Full details and online booking at
