There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday Friday night 18th September. The numbers drawn were 6 – 16 – 28 – 31. No punter matched three numbers and three tickets were drawn. Ann Hegarty Dooleeg, Shelia Rixon Kinard Crossmolina and Gregory Hegarty Dooleeg each win €50. This week's Jackpot is €14,550. Crossmolina U16 team got off to a winning start in the North Mayo Championship at Tiernans Park on Tuesday last. With goals either side of the first water break from James Maheady and Diarmuid Fox to lead half time 2 – 6 to 0 – 5 Sean Walsh with two points and a goal from Alan Lavin kept the visitors scoreboard ticking but James Maheady and Jack Naughton were doing likewise for the Deel-Siders. The last quarter James Maheady drove over three points and Sean Walsh raised a white flag for the Sea siders to leave Crossmolina five points winners after a well contested game. Girls U12 Division 1 Final 

McHale/Rovers 3 – 4 Westport 1 – 6

McHale/Rovers capture the Girls U12 Division 1 after a hard earned battle in wet conditions in Moy Davitts Park Foxford on Wednesday last. Westport held the upper hand up until the first water break with Katie Hughes grabbing a goal and point and Tara Macken added a point to leave them 1 – 2 to no score and it would be more were it not for the stout defending of the McHale/Rovers Natalie Kearns and Ally Gallagher. Their was a marked improvement in the Deel-Siders work rate all over the park  and Niamh Hegarty gave her side the boost they needed with a goal just after the break and Nia Barret tacked on another goal before Katie Hughes and Amy Doherty exchanged points to leave the half time score 2 – 1 to 1 – 2 Katie Hughes and Niamh Hegarty  swopped points before Amy Doherty free kick flew into the to left hand corner of the net for the crucial score Katie Hughes reduced the lead to four points at the second water break. As the game entered the closing stages both sides added two points each Nia Barret and Amy Doherty for McHale/Rovers and Westport’s top scorer Katie Hughes. Both sides defences were strong and a number of players were in line for the Girl of the match in the end Amy Doherty McHale/Rovers was adjudged the recipient

Crossmolina second team over came a stiff challenge form Neighbours  Moygownagh in the Mayo league Division 5B tie at Tiernans Park on Sunday week. Moygownagh lead at Half time 2 -3 to 0 - 5 with goals from Sean Mulligan and Alan Carolan. A James Gill goal in the third quarter brought Crossmolina right back into game. It still took a string of points from Gerard Haran Robert Murphy and Conor Rowland after the second water break to secure the points. U14 North Mayo Championship

Crossmolina 10 – 17 Ballina 6 – 4

Crossmolina had a very comfortable win in the opening round of the North Mayo U14 Championship in James Stephen Park on Thursday last. A four goal burst in the second quarter from  Luke Maloney Kobe McDonald and two from Tom Gough laid the foundation for this success Niall Peoples raised a green flag for hosts. Crossmolina continued their scoring spree through the second half in fairness The Stephenites scored five goals from Oisin McCann Jerome Nevin and Jack O’Brien scored a brace each. This was a much better performance from Crossmolina for 45 minutes in this league tie in Louisburgh on Saturday week. With a string of points from Dean Loftus Tom Cafferty Fionan Duffy Cathal Carolan and Conor Rowland they clawed their way back to tie the second water break 1 – 10 each. The host who had moved Padraic O’Malley from full back to partner Padraic  Prendergast was the real turning point they scored nine  points of their sides total over the hour and they out scored Crossmolina six points to one from the Boot of Fionan Duffy in the last quarter to run out deserving winners in the end  J. Crossmolina dominated this County Division 3 League Semi final at St Tiernans Park on Wednesday last from start to finish Niall Coggins raised the first green flag in the opening quarter Conal Carolan and James William continued the goal scoring in the last Quarter in between James Maheady Diarmuid Walsh and Nial Coggins were the other goal scorers. This was a game of thirty eight scores twelve goals and Twenty six points Eoin Murphy started the goal rush quickly followed by  Diarmuid Coggins and Ronan Loftus who also added a point Carras replied with six points before the water break from Rob Moran and Conor Keleghan one each and four from Shane Flannery. The second quarter James Maheady tacked on a goal and two points Mickie Maloney soloed sixty meters to score a classic point and Jack Naughton rapped in the fifth goal Conor Lydon replied with two points and Kevin Mullen added another before the half time break. A string of points from Eoin Murphy James Maheady Jack Naughton in between a brace of goals from Ronan Loftus and one from Jack Naughton. The visitors kept the score board ticking over with two points each from Rob Moran Shane Flannery one from Conor Lydon with Kevin Mullen adding a goal and point to leave the score 8 – 8 to 1 – 15 at the second water break After this Carras found the net with goals from Kevin Mullen and Ciaran Burke who also added a point. U13 County Final 

Crossmolina 0 – 7 Namoh Padraig 0 – 6 

Crossmolina captured the  Homeland County U13 C title with a one point win over Naomh Padraig at James Stephens Park on Thursday last their never more than a point separating the side over the course of the game. Noamh Padraig Gavin Walsh opened the scoring with a point which Evan Molloy cancelled out minutes later and Michael Ruddy gave his side a one point advantage at the water break. Ethan Reilly pointed a free to tie the score and that was the way it stayed until half time. With both defences on top Crossmolina’s Gorgie Gordetskyy  was called upon to make a couple vital stops The seasiders Jack O’Donnell rattled over two points which Aaron Keane and Peadar Fergus replied with points each before the second water break  and Gavin Walsh gave his side a 0 – 5 to 0 – 4 advantage Ethan Reilly tied the score again minutes into the last quarter Gavin Walsh drover his sides sixth point before Crossmolina Ethan Reilly tied the score once again with only a few minutes on the clock  Ethan held his verve and kicked the insurance point from a free after Aaron Donnellan was upended much to the delight of the very large Deel-Rovers Supporters

Crossmolina over came a stiff challenge from visitors Naomh Padraig in the north Darby in the U19 Division 3A League a Jonathan Murtagh goal after 9 minutes was the plat form for this victory Eoin Murphy Diarmuid Walsh kept the score board ticking over Padraic Breslin opened his side account with a point and Sean McKeon Crossmolina had the better of the exchanges after the water break tacking six points from Diarmuid Walsh two and one each from Jonathan Murtagh Eoin Murphy Luke Rowland and James Maheady Sean McKeon and Iarla Quinn  raised white flags to leave the Half time score 1 – 9 to 1 – 3 Padraic Breslin grabbed a goal Naomh Padraig but this was cancelled out by Luke Rowland goal after 45 minutes a string of points from James Maheady  Diarmuid Walsh Eoin Murphy to leave the Deel-Siders comfortable winners in the end by five points. U15 League Final 

Crossmolina 4 – 11 Parke/Keeogues/Crimlin 1 – 10

Crossmolina capture the County U15 League title which they last won in 2014 with a comfortable win in the end over P/K/C in Bofeenaun on Tuesday last. The West Mayo side opened the scoring with a Dylan Quinn point which Dylan Flynn cancelled out with two excellent points Owen Kelly and Oisin Deane swopped points then Adam Mills pointed and Colm Lynch drove the ball to the net before the water break  Dylan Flynn pointed to leave the score 1 – 3 to 0 – 5 Crossmolina came more into the game despite playing against the Breeze Adam Mills added two points and Dylan Flynn Raised a green flag Mark Bolger Dara Neary Evan Walsh and Neary again tied the score before Owen Kelly pointed to give his side a one point advantage at  Half time. The Deel-Siders dominated the third quarter with goal from Josh Moyles and Oisin Deane racking up 1 – 3 with Adam Mills tacking on a point PKC reply was two points from Colm Lynch and Evan Walsh. The final fifteen minutes were played out with just one more score a Dylan Flynn Goal for the Deel-Siders. Despite the score line the West Mayo side tried their best to get into the game but Crossmolina defence were excellent and snuffed any danger that was applied with confidence. U13 C Semi-Final 

Louisburgh made the long journey to St Tiernans Park on Thursday evening last for this County U13 League Semi-Final and were quickly on score board with a goal from Dylan O’Toole Crossmolina’s Evan Molloy found the net minutes later Ethan Reilly with two points and one from Ruairi McGuinnness gave the hosts a three points advantage at the water break. Ethan Reilly tacked on 1 – 1 and Christian Sweeney pointed Paul O’Malley reduced the lead with two points before half time.  Dylan O’Toole repeated what did in the first half cracked the ball to the net for his sides second goal and Michael Ball rowed in with a point which were sandwiched between two points each from Aaron Keane and Ethan Reilly 2 – 9 to 2 – 3 further points from Aaron Keane and Ethan Reilly were cancelled out by Paul O’Malley who tacked on a goal and a point before the final whistle to leave Crossmolina winners by four points 2 – 11 to 3 – 4.
